In Scottsdale and just picked up tickets for Fri 1/21. They had a show at the Pavilions today and Barratt Jackson owner showed up with two matching Bugatti's. Free car show with about 600-800 cars. great fun!

I was going to attend Barret-Jackson and take my credit card. Then I thought maybe I should take the whole home equity line of credit with me. Then I realized that I own my home, free and clear, and I still don't have enough equity to buy most of the cars at that auction. So I stayed home (again this year).
i dont get too excited about BJ auctions anymore, too pricey for me BUT i do like Mecum auctions...more blue collar type cars that are affordable and the salespeople are a laugh a minute..
I have been to them all & enjoy them (including the B-J circus). But the RM auctions were the best by far. Very professional, non-tarted up cars, and the auctioneer never took a break for the full 8 hours. What a pro!

I'm going this year to both B-J and the RM auctions weds thru Sunday...leaving snowy, cold Maine and going to sunny Phoenix, but keeping my hands down and my credit cards home! Should be a hoot!
