Okay, people!

The kickoff to this year's Tour d' Hoe will start with a barbecue at my place in Auburn, CA in the lovely Sierra Foothills. You're all invited! The more, the merrier!

Of course, I need to know a couple things before you come over:

Are you coming from close by or do you need me to find accommodations for you? There are several hotels/motels within minutes of my place.

For those of you who are towing your car - do you need to park your towing rig? If so, I have two acres of space.

Do you have any dietary restrictions? Just kidding, If you do, bring your own damn food. I'll leave some space on the grill so you can cook your tofu burger.

I need a head count so we can make a run to Costco for burgers and dogs. There will be some cheap beverages but I suggest you bring your own, okay? There's a couple supermarkets on the way to our place.

I also need a headcount for accommodations, okay?

I need this info ASAP. Tic-toc...

It looks like a significant turnout for the barbecue! Hard to turn down free food, right?

As mentioned above, the menu will be burgers and dogs along with the typical salads and chips.

If you have dietary restrictions please bring what you can eat and we'll leave you some room on the grill.

Please bring your favorite beverage...I've seen most of you drink and I can't afford the bar tab!

Several of you have asked if you can bring something. It isn't necessary but if you insist you can bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Please, nothing that needs refrigeration, okay?

There will be large buckets with ice for your beverages...there are priorities!

Those of you who need my address, etc., please dialog me, okay? I don't want GERD to know where I live.
