I saw a "framed" top on one of the Speedsters on here being built in the UK, just the other day. I wonder how many of the UK Speedster kits have articulating frame tops??
Hey Alan, The top has a sissor type frame that has a rail along each side of the top. It bends behind your head and on the side rails. The header is really heavy duty, but the back window is like sarran wrap. I installed a new back window in mine made out of heavier plastic. Hopes this help. Tom
Chris is in charge of bringing the Wachusett Micro-brew and that other stuff from Vermont (can't remember the name of it), and he'll be back from Germany on Saturday. When I see him next week (he stole my portable air compressor while I was down in South Carolina and I need to pick up my donor's engine for Jerome) I'll mention it - shouldn't be a problem!! 8>) I'll also bring along some "Newport Storm", just for comparison. Rhode Island's a small state - we've only got one micro-brew ;>(
