PS: What ever happened to Pat D's paint? I must have missed something. Carey stepped up and fixed a whole list of troubles, but I never heard ( or maybe just missed the part) about the paint. Just curious.
I request that the site manager of Speedster Owners.com date this particular thread of complaints so that readers will immediately understand that they are reading a 2 year old greivance and not reading about the current company or its management. Its a lousy thing to be slammed by situations that are beyond your control, especially when you have made an effort to correct them for a customer. Besides I would like to buy a Beck from Special Editions someday and this thread of information does not reflect my impression of my first choice in 356 makers.

That's exactly why I felt it was so important to respond. I didn't want a fresh black eye for Carey, when this was ancient history, he already went above and beyond to resolve it, and he has proven his mettle with me at every opportunity.
