Hello Terry, I'm sorry you are selling your car mainly due to mechanical fustration.I am not to that point yet (but there is still time).In the list of items you had indicated a German carpet set.Is this available through a website or catalog ?Any info will be appreciated.I have read your postings in the past and found alot of the info to be helpful . $500 and less than 2 hours of work will get the shifter fixed. Did it with a Brandwood cable shifter. As has been discussed many times the rod when properly adjusted SHOULD be a better feel but I could never get mine to work so I went over to the dark side and won't look back as I can now grab all my gears every time.
