There was a Vintage Porsche / VW swap meet today near my house.
I saw this on a trailer at the swap meet and thought I’d pass it along. I don’t know who it belongs to or anything about the car.

A neighbor that was interested in the Spyder above asked me realistically how much more would it take to have a fine operating example.
I really don’t know. Told him my best guess would be approximately $15k for paint and interior and odd bits (windscreen, gauges, steering wheel and column, etc).
But thought I’d ask the group their thoughts.
If the engine & trans are good you could have something there & $15k seems like a good guess for finishing it. Those "odd bits" sure do add up though, depending on the level of finish desired.
Sounds about right. Better deal if he could get it closer to 10k, it is in primer.....

I'd want to know what motor, is it a donor or a fresh build. Who built it, when did it run last and when/how was it serviced. Higher compression motors like that, it's good to know.
Is this car still for sale?
