I have 85 built in '06 (or late '05). The car was finally assembled in May '06.
#58 left here as a kit in late 02, early 03 and came back to the factory partially built in '05. At that time it was finished and tagged.
Although we did try to keep chassis numbers in chronological order there are several that are exceptions to the numerical system for various reasons. Some were stocked in a specific color combination that was less popular, while others fell victim to a simple lack of FIFO rotation.
Last year I ran the high 300s and low 400s, yet had some mid 200s cars mixed in. Currently I am in the lower to mid 400s, yet have 2 mid 300s cars in assembly. I do believe that they are the last of the "out of sequence" chassis numbers and will be chronological once again.
Correction just cuz I'm anal: I have #84.
What makes a Beck Speedster more "valuable" or more "special" than a VS speedster?
