Took a nice 5-6 hour ride in my Beck on Saturday afternoon down to my home town and stopped to visit some old friends along the way. Temps in the mid-forties, but the sun was out so it was all bearable. Gloves were finally needed late in the day. It mighta been the last ride of the year.

Drove from Beaufort to the Hilton Head Concours show this morning.

Left the house in the dark at 0630 to join up with the car club at 0700. It was dark as pitch and about 46 degrees. Had the top up and my Boeing jacket on, but no hat and no gloves.

Arrived at Hilton Head at 0745 and the sun was just about coming up. Was pretty chilly at the show until about noon when it warmed up and was GLORIOUS! until around 1600 when it was getting chilly again.

That's life in the newer, chillier South

Oh!......and Dennis Gage, host of My Classic Car, stopped by Pearl and said that he thought she was "Awesome". Bobby Rahal wandered by and thought she looked "mean and must be a lot of fun" and I won a spectator award for my category.

NOt a bad day at all!
