X2 to what Tom said. You have bought into a great company with Carey and Kevin and of course the knowledge gained on this site is immeasurable. My merlot speedster is visiting SE for the winter as well and cannot wait for spring. Post up some pics when you get a chance.

Being 14 miles away just doesn't seem fair to me. Still, a 4-5 hour drive isn't too bad if I could just skip Chicago and the tolls. My car is hanging out down there for the winter as well.

Lane is going to start crying pretty soon (if he hasn't already).

Rich are you picking up or having your car delivered? Also do you have a date in mind. 

Joe, I am in no big hurry and have not set up a date...and if I don't call Carey one of these days one of my big updates will not be done this winter. I may take the commuter trains down there if I can figure out all the connections I may need to do.

Or you could meet me somewhere and we could drive over to get your car.....

Gentlemen... for those with cars @ SE: I live in South Bend. If your flying or taking the train into SB Regional airport, I would be willing to pick you up and take you to SE... if my schedule will allow of course. Again, it's less than a 30 minute drive to SE from here.

 

Thanks for the offer, but Carey picks me up in Niles, MI.  South Bend would require a connection through Chicago which would be crazy for me.

Rich... do you take Amtrack to downtown South Bend? I'm 10 minutes from the station.

Mono, I've never done it yet, but I'm just guessing that's what would get me there from Chicago. I know something commutes back and forth. I need to do my homework, find schedules etc. In the meantime, feel free to go shovel your driveway. 

Rich... look into the South Shore (RR) as an option. Funny you should suggest shoveling... my drive is over 500 ft and covered with 12+", and I just got my sno-blower back from being in the repair shop for 10 days. 

So,mono, be spending some time outside tomorrow? Got plenty of gas in the can to run that snow throwin' beast?
