1957 Porsche 356 SPEEDSTER ($24k starting bid)
Beautiful car. Doesn't say when it was manufactured. Apparently lives in Richmond, Virginia. Any SOC'ers over there?
A bit too much red on the interior; carpet, steering wheel(?) imo but likely a nice car.
Not even 1000 miles on it: it's not even broken-in/sorted. $24k is a screaming deal for an essentially-new Beck.

"Starting bid" $24,000
It will go well over 30 or not meet reserve.

THERE IS NO RESERVE....it could sell for 24K
It is #208 which, I believe, would have it built between 2007 and 2010.
I emailed the owner.
Ah. Not so new as I first thought. And likely not so cheap.
3 days left and still no bids.
All of that red is a bit much on the eyes....methinx it needs to be broken up with some black(?) or ?.....but 24K for a Beck 1900 is a pretty good/reasonable buy(?).

How do you know there's no reserve? I have never bought a car on ebay but but I didn't think you could see the "reserve not met" until there was a bid.
These other 246 on ebay without a bid don't say anything about a reserve https://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-...dSRZ~gwA&vxp=mtr

The seller can also pull the auction if it doesn't meet his number - frowned upon but also done and relisted.
It's odd that no one mentioned that this low milage Beck didn't sell for the listed 24K.
I guess that's my job.
auction ended with no bids. Hmm.

I think it's a tough time of year to sell...right before holiday season and at the end of much of the driving season. Some folks might have been put off by all the red interior but certainly that could have been remedied reasonably. A 1915cc Beck has to go for at least 15K more than that new and only 850 miles? I also have seen very little selling as of late as it seems that much discretionary dollars have dried up....it seems as if anyone was looking/buying, they have found what they are looking for or possibly have ordered new. I watch Samba/Ebay/Renn regularly and see the same cars listed month after month with hardly any sales....but could be wrong(?).
