I think SE has sold cars on consignment.  A good possibility would be to wait until spring, make a deal with Carey, and drive your car there.

People start thinking about a convertible in the spring and many are unwilling to wait.

My first visit to Carey I test drove a used Beck that somebody had built from their kit.  It was not my cup of tea, but I was hooked.  This was August, so I opted for a winter build.

However, I imagine that there are more people approaching Carey for immediate gratification than he has cars for.

Rich---I can't believe that Speedster hasn't sold yet.  It is gorgeous with a primo power plant and will make a wonderful car for someone.  It's not ceap because of what it is---a premium car for a really less-than-premium price.

My idea, if it hasn't sold by then, would be to drive it to Carlisle and put it in that area where cars are sold and put a price on it that you could live with.  Something between "HOLY S### I hit the Lottery" and "Yikes, I gave that car away!" I believe it woulsd sell at Carlisle.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
