What?????

It's only a couple or three days each way, 57 cups of black coffee, 12 bags of beef jerky and some Cheesy-Poofs. Oh, and a couple of nights in a flea-bag trucker motel (along with the noise from the "neighbors" and the roaches).

What's keepin ya?!?!?

And don't gve me that business about a little dusting of snow across the Mid-West - I'm not gonna buy it.......
I had the opportunity to buy this car from the insurance company about a year or so ago, with the engine and trans and gauges, etc, etc... After seeing more close-up and high resolution photos I passed on it.
I am not saying the seller is wrong about the chassis being straight, but seeing the collision photos and the orientation of the front wheel I would highly recommend someone inspecting the front of the chassis, the front beam and all related supports before pulling the trigger on this one. Just my 2c
Best place to get a color from is a new car dealer on Sunday when you won't get jumped by some starving saleperson. The window sticker color name is most always at the top of that sticker. Seeing a color on a car is a lot better than trying to match a photo or a color chip and with the year and color name you get exactly what you see. Remember that most reds are way expensive ($150 plus a quart) due to pigments. ~Alan
I'm not sure that it matters too much what color you choose - it's still gonna be expensive!

I wandered into an auto paint supplier which I had used quite a bit....40 years ago....but they're still there, even if all of the original people are long gone. I wanted a pint of the metallic green body color of my truck so I could re-paint my rub rails (and found that DuPlo didn't offer my color in zippy-cans). The supplier didn't sell pints, only quarts and gallons. I also wanted a can of "reducer" and was told it's not called that anymore, it's now a "fixer" (or something like that). Whatever.... so I ask him for a quart of the color and a quart of the, uh, "Fixer".

So while the guy was mixing up the paint on his "HUE-Aggronamatcher 5000"
