Interesting.
Well now that I know they can make those bumpers can I remove them
They were never my favourite if you ever saw Chip Fooses 911 redo a 356 he cut the bumpers down to a small size I like it ... looked more euro.. Sorry Carey
Mine won't have bumpers or side deco strips. Outlaw look for me, baby!!!!
That said, I always like the T6 body front end. The larger bumper does look a bit odd on the rear, though.
UPDATE: I was lucky enough to get to drive the Beck SC prototype at Carlisle last week and I have to say that it's pretty fantastic. It is amazingly roomy and quiet inside, and has lots of power and torque across the whole RPM range. I didn't have time or clear enough roads to really push it and test the handling, but what I could tell when taking Mike Fincher to get a "healthy" donut breakfast was impressive. The steering and brakes are up to modern standards although the gearshift felt a bit loose to me. There were a few "tells" that it was a prototype (gearshift, heavy clutch, too stiff suspension bushings), but those are easy fixes. The number of changes that need to be made for production is surprisingly small.
My car is still a few months out, but I expect the chassis and body to be transported from Chuck (northern GA) to Carey (northern IN) any day now, which will signal the start of real production. I should start getting some pictures to post then.
What color are you going for?
Maritime blue
Still TBD, but pretty much down to Porsche Oslo blue or "Mullis" blue (i.e. Blue Angels/USPS mailbox blue).

I was hoping you’d say slate gray with a tobacco interior, but I guess that will have to wait for my coupe (after I win the lottery) :-)
So Lane, are you going to Xpel film the front of that car @Lane Anderson
Wrong thread, Ray. We're on #3 now.
But yes, I do plan on PPF (probably Xpel) on the front.
Sorry Lane.
