I had an acrobatic mishap out in Denver. Resulting damage to a c-spine disc has me on doctor's orders not to drive or even hoist a beer until he and the physical therapist say I'm well enough to come off the meds.
Hoping to be on wheels again and back to work in a week or two.
Feels good to be missed. Teresa's off working on a cruise ship this week, so I'm at home with her laptop and good dope for the next seven days. The counter says I've missed 700-odd posts. Should be some interesting reading. Forgive my typos -- I can't feel my right index or middle fingers yet.

Let's see......stiff, grumpy, doped-up Cory recuperating and needing waiting on hand and foot on the one hand, and on the other hand, a week working on a cruise ship (probably in some exotic, Caribbean setting, warm breezes, Mojitos on demand, GREAT FOOD, the scent of Bouganvilla wafting on the evening breeze, GREAT FOOD, warm sand on the white sand beaches...)

What happened? I've been away for a while myself (work and karting stuff). I just pulled my speedy out the other day and am "sorting" a few things out with it right now. Give me a call if you're up to it.

On a side note: A friend emailed me a few pics the other day. The email was titled "Perfectly restored 356". There were 7-8 pics of two young ladies "enjoying each others company" in a silver 356 on a beach. I only bring this up because the car, and the scenery, look remarkably like a few pics of one of our SOC friends who has a silver 356 and lives near the beach (uh hem hem, Jim). That said, I'm sure Jim had no knowledge someone loaned his car out for such inappropriate use. Has anyone else seen these pics before? They would melt down the site if I posted them so I won't.

Cory - Glad to hear you're somewhat coherent now. Pain meds like make me go, um, to another place - one I don't remember much of later. Give me booze on a cruise ship anytime. Give the Lady Teresa my best. As for you, if necessary, we can feed you beer by a straw at Carlisle. I'm sure MUSBEJIM is up to driving the Hoopty.

When you're in my business you see lots of hot chicks all over each other all the time :), it gets boring. On the other hand, I can never get enough of a great looking car in a great setting.
