Beginning my quest for a beehive 56 replica..need help. | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I've been a porsche fan for a couple of decades now and have owned several 911's. I've always had a soft spot for the 356 but can't bring myself to buy an original speedster as I've a fully loaded 997TT sitting in the garage already.
I would like to purchase a replica that has the 56 beehive rear lights. I am not looking for a fast car but mearly a fun car to drive that closely replicates the driving characteristics of the original. A car that offers horsepower in the range of a 56 speedster would be ideal. I would like to be able to do my own maintenance on the car..oil changes etc.
I have been reading quite a bit on this forum and I am thrilled to have access to the knowledge of the members.
What recommendations do you guys think will help me in my search. My preference would be to buy a preowned model. I live in Canada and I understand there are complications in importing same...but could use some guidance here as well.

If you can find an Intermeccanica (they're built in Canada) you're set. It's one of the best replicas money can buy.
