Alright, I'm interested. I seen pricing for Turn key cars, kits, and used. Those SAW cars sound sweet but pricey. I like the rear engine volks cars but if they weigh in around the same price-Who knows?. Lets belly up and reveal just how much you have tied up in those kits or cars! I have to make a decision!

Dear Mister Buzzrouter.

Grab yer banjo... Play the first few notes in open G on the third and second strings, ...

--------------------------------------------------------
------------0--1---3---1---0--------------------------
-0-0-0--2------------------------2----0-------------
-------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------

...then barre the fifth fret with your index finger,(forming an open "C" chord) and pick out the same pattern with your remaining fingers...
----------------------------------------------------
--------------5-6-8-6-5-----------------------------------
--5-5-5--7---------------7-5------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------

...and then do the same at the seventh fret "D" position

----------------------------------------------------------
------------7-8--9-8-7------------------------------------------
--777--9----------------9--7-------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------

Then do your best Ned Beatty Pig Squeal and play the ditty agin and agin and agin! You'll find your prize in the return notes from the banjo accross the Holler! Oh, you asked about Prices, not Prizes. My bad.
Hey that's a pretty accurate snow crust likeness of Oklahoma except it needs to be on fire. Maybe you should have frozen it and put it up for bids on E-Bay. ;-) Thanks for sharing it!

You should feel extra secure Jamie.... I worked air traffic control at the FAA's regional radar approach at the base of the tower on spine road. I also worked in the tower back when there was One Tower.

Ricardo, thanks... it's an international language (music)!
Damn straight, Jamie.

Did I mention that my wife's cousin's son plays on that National Championship High School Football team next to you in Grapevine? The SLC? Or that I worked at that big airport just to the southeast of you?

Hello RDBB 1-2. What I'm worried about is that BuzzOrouter is envious of the Joad Special* and is trying to find out what she's worth. He caint have her. Not n'less he's got some purty panties to trade along with a stump broke mule.

*(the original kit car & and the first front engine water-cooled Slowster)
Why would you need to know what people have spent on their cars. All the manufacturers are pretty upfront and straightforward about the cost and what options cost. Jeeez, all you gotta do is add it up.

If price is your main consideration, then a used one or a Vintage is always going to be the way to go. I have seen several Vintage cars and if you think you can build one for less your kidding yourself.

Different builders appeal to different markets. The price differences reflect the cost of providing those differences. If you think they are all building the same thing and some people are just making more money then you just haven't done any real research.
