Best gas additive for short storage time

You can find it at any local auto store.

Put it in the tank, run the car (so it gets in the carbs) then store.

There are two Sta-bil products - a red one, for lawn mowers and such, and the Blue tinted stuff for marine applications and Speedsters.  The Blue stuff counteracts alcohol degradation in the fuel, too.

They're both about the same price, but go for the Blue.

I use the blue stuff in almost everything. Boat, mower, chain saws, generator and speedster in every tank. It costs a little more but it has about twice the good stuff to counter act ethanol. I usually over dose it a little as the directions state that it will not hurt anything.

My speedster may be referred to as a tub but it's certainly not a boat.
