You need to get DrClock to refer you to some of the NJ Replica or Sports Car Club guys as they may have some contacts. Peter V and David S did there own conversions so it isn't impossible to do DIY. Englishtown, NJ used to have a big VW show in April and you could probably find some conversions there with contacts. Or look up results of that show and find contacts.

Geeze - that's flash from past - bought a '69 MGC engine from them when mine spun a bearing. Worked at Ft Dix at the time.
