I have had nothing but problems with 2 sets of Webers on my 2275.
My mechanic Matt is good friends with Rollo, they use to work together at Kirks.
Rollo wanted to make it right so he drove all the way from LA to east of sacramento and spent most of Satuday on my car.He brought a new set of Empis.
OMG! What a difference..pulls smooth thru all the rpms..no hesitation, belching, popping, shuddering. Rollo is da mann in my book.

Ditto what Lane said. Marty G's engine is sensational and he easily made the drive from Chicago to Carlisle this year with zero issues.
I have heard of other instances where Roland went above and beyond, too. That's the kind of person you want building your engine.

Good to hear the Empi's work well for you. Are they 40's or 44's?
40's made 8 more HP on my 2150 than the 44's! Get the Thomlinson book from C. B. Perormance to understand these carbs. I believe the parts are interchangable between the Webers and the Empi HPMX's.
Same with all the jets.
