Folks:

I just heard from Pat yesterday evening about his little road trip to Farmington Dragway in Mocksville North Carolina.  The East coast boys were not to happy when he came rolling up.

His quest?

To set the Pro Stock record in the East.  Well,  He did it!   And boy did he do it..  Pat ran a 5.90 / 117.25 mph 1/8 mile... Smashed the record and took it all, the old record was 6.04 1/8 mile ..  His competition ran a 6.17..  Pat said he could have done better but had to take power out of the car due to track conditions.    ummmm holy sheeet!!!  Take power out of the car?!!!!!!

5.90 / 117.25 mph!!  Does not look like that record will be broken any time soon..

He now holds the National Record in The East Coast Pro Racing Assoc. books.. he said,  "This was a 30 year quest" and he's happy he accomplished his goal.  All on a naturally aspirated motor..

Pat said he will be taking the 1/4 mile record home next year in Sacramento..

Have to say,  this does add to his credibility when it comes to engine building..

Congratulations Pat!!
