Bigfoot Extended Clutch Pedal Shaft | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Has anybody installed one of these (clutch brake spacers)? I saw them advertised on the Samba site. The first time I drove my car I could bareley manage the tight space. Now, as long as I'm not wearing boots, I do fine. I just wonder if this is worth the money.

I'd be interested in any feedback also. My pedals are close enough to be annoying to drive in general never mind with anything but him shoes.

Uh.

Serious question?

Why not just bend the clutch pedal an inch to the left?

Or, better: Pull the pedals out, pull the clutch two inches to the left and pull the brake one inch, thus giving yourself an extra inch between all the pedals?

Or am I an idiot? (I know.. I know... But it's is a serious question).

You are not an idiot, Ed. I was wondering the same thing as I find the brake rather close to the gas given the difference in fore/aft positioning.
