... understand, I'm not really that mechanical. Well I do own more than a philps and flat head screwdriver...

Here's my bike rack. Still need to saw off some of the bolt and pipe ends to make it look more in balance and clean.

It's pretty sturdy. The straps make the rear tire/bike more balanced and the weight onto the rollbar. I don't think there's much weight or torque on the luggage rack when I corner the car, since the straps are tightly afixed to the bike and roll bar.

Should anyone have any ideas how to reduce any stress onto the luggage rack... would love to hear it. I realize the luggage racks only held on by four bolt, to fiberglass, that has two (not to structurely made for weight) hinges and a locking hinge that ain't too tight.
