Bituthene

A little while back Bituthene was discussed (a membrane roofing/sealing product used to reduce noise/vibration in a car).

If Bituthene is installed on the pan surface of a VW, can it later be removed? If so, how is it removed/what is needed?

Alan......Once that product has affixed itself to a non porus surface................ it is there ........like the original german factory 'tar boards",

...........When it Is Colder Weather.....you can place a wide chisel at it's edge and hammer it off. Warm Weather and you have a soft surface that sticks to just about everything.........
