Increases in the cost of new ones over the past couple of years has caused some appreciation in values of these little cars, particularly the older ones (CMCs, pan based IMs) and the more recent cars (2000 and newer) from the lower priced builders (VS and JPS). If you bought reasonably and take care of it, you should be able to get your money out of it when you sell. Fine with me.
