My Black Betty II project #16 a Black on Black Vintage Super Widebody is starting to look good.  It's back from a fresh repaint, the engine went back in this morning after being freshened up and receiving a new clutch, exhaust, and various other bits and pieces.  The seats and door panels are out being reupholstered and should be back in the car by next weekend.

nice work troy!  That paint looks fantastic!

Just out of curiosity - i think most of the speedies you have redone have those wheels.  Is that becasue they come with them from VS, or are you putting them on?

Just throwing it out there (my $0.02) -  have you thought about reselling the wheels and trying out a set like Roman's:

(maybe a lowering it a little too?)

there seems to be demand for those wheels - so you might even walk away with extra $.

not trying to back-0seat build your #16 project.  i'm still on project #1

Those are very nice wheels Mango.  Do you have any idea where he got them and what they are?

OK.  Ricardo from PR.  I think in addition to Impala it must have also said Ricardo, because that is what I remember about you.  That's probably the biggest issue about the new site, it's difficult to know who you are talking with unless they put their name in their signature like Ron, Bill myself and a few others have done in this thread.  I don't have a clue who sassy, or porschavw (who are also in this thread) actually are.

The first one was silver and that was just about 3 years ago, but I've had at least two black ones along the way.

Hi Mike; the work on my contract in NOLA ended back in June 2012 and I've been unemployed ever since; sound familiar? Despite my efforts as well as the efforts on the part of some great friends who want me to relocate there I've been unable to land a job to make it possible. I've been on a job hunt since then and that is my full time job now. In my 20 years of professional experience I've never gone through such a lengthy dry spell; this is a first. Not a fun position to be in but I could do a whole lot worse; I live in a tropical island, don't have any outstanding debt and have my Speedster to cheer me up, how about that?
