Not much has happened over winter months. Now that we approaching summer it is full steam ahead with work on the " Black Sheila" the engine compartment is now completely done , now it is the Spare Wheel Compartment upgrade this is an area that requires modifications, this upgrade will help house the spare wheel, battery (Recessed backwards similar to the original 356) and supports for the front steel bumper. All these upgrades is a step closer to getting the speedster complete. My friend Armand did some work this week, below is some progress pics.

Fiber glass wheel compartment cut and removed.

The pic below displays how the spare wheel will rest once the frame is cladded with sheet metal, the battery will also be recessed backwards very similar to the originals.
