That's sad to hear, Bob. He did seem to be a nice guy when I was was dealing with him...about 4 years ago already. From what I gathered he did some travels with his collection of British car wares and at one point we were going to try to cross paths at Road America (near my home) but that never happened.

I usually him twice a year. At Mosport in June, and Watkins Glen in September. He is well known and well respected in the MG vintage racing community. Mary and I saw him last September, and he was recovering from major surgery, but was optimistic.
Ron, I suggest you maybe try to contact Minilite. Too bad John Targett sounds like he is currently out of the picture according to Bob here, he was very helpful with my BMW wheels. They seem to be able to create the offsets one needs through custom ordering. There might be a longer waiting period until they get some new castings needed. I'd try contacting them via their e-mail/contact and see what type of response you get. I was pleased with the customer contact back then.
Latest posts on MGExperience say John Targett passed away last week I'm afraid.
Thanks, Lane, sorry to hear that. My limited experience with him via e-mails made him out to be a fun lovin' car guy. :-(
I knew he had not long to live, but John kept his positive spirit. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word, and the Vintage races at Watkins Glen won't be the same without him.
Truly a very sad passing.
I wondered about those 12-holers.
