No rear view mirror, really weird looking front turn signals, ugly exhaust pipe, looks like carpet missing under the dash, VW steering wheel/column? Looks like a high school shop project, though I've seen better. Nice paint job.

Not bad looking exteriorwise but the interior is a real hodge-podge of mixed components. The Porsche mill is probably worth 3 or 4 grand depending on its condition, so the price is probably reasonable considering that (assuming the engine is in decent shape).

what I was wondering is why they have such a higher quality paint job on a car that isn't worth really of it, BUT then again thats how ya save the bucks because its a cosmetic nightmare and cosmetics compared to paint is a much cheaper fix so with little dollars I think it has potential to be a nice car, different gauges, shifter, outside mirrors, steering wheel, hubcaps all inexpensive but give it a different look quickly, and with the make an offer option there's potential to get it around $10K maaaaybe??!!!!

I kind of like it. That exhaust pipe doesn't sour me on the car at all.
I'd drive it, provided it works when I turn the key. It seems like a minimalist approach, and I think the flares would look good with black-annodized Fuchs in them.
It appears to be a driver's car; maybe a rat-rod by Speedster standards, but cool to my eye.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but the ad reads it has a 912 engine. That lump looks like it might just do the job.
