I am continuing with the black theme of my car. It already has many black accents. Recent additions include the black leather Nardi and the powdercoat black Beck wheels. Driver side floor mat was showing wear so I replaced the mats with black on black cocomats. These are of very high quality. I really like them. Will be painting my hardtop black for the winter. I would really like to get a black boot cover but these things are crazy expensive. About $500 for a conv D. Has anyone ever dyed a boot cover?  Is it possible?

You can have a local upholstery shop make one for about $30.

You can also dye one easily using SEM products and it will be permanent.

You need SEM Color Coat

SEM Paints (SEM15013) Color Coat - Landau Black Aerosol

You can read details on how to use it here

http://www.semproducts.com/color-coat-aerosols/

They say you should use the Prep product first, but I have done it without the prep just making sure to wipe everything down with thinner before spraying.

The Prep product is here

SEM38353 - Color Coat Preparation 11 Ounce
