Main unit is about 5"x18" add maybe 6" for end pipes and 3" for electrical cover. Complete units are hard to find - the fuel pump, glow plug, exhaust and switch are frequently missing. You could drive with top down and still be warm with this as it was designed to heat a VW bug. With timer you can start it before you even start the car up. Designed to go next to gas tank in the bug. Could be installed up under dash of Speedster or the open area between rear seat and the engine fire wall.

Greg, the BN-2 manual recommends NOT running the heater with the engine off. It has something to do with the amp draw of the glowplug. Always start the car first, then the heater. I don't ever leave my heater running unattended, just in case. Somebody(not me, I swear!) got a good deal though.
Wolfgang, I just moved from Yellowknife, NT to Ontario....5,600 kms. After lots of calls I ended up getting Our Move out of Edmonton to do the move. One flat rate for a 53 ft trailer including dolly, logistic bars, racks, blankets, etc. We had to load and unload but we were not charged by weight, just a flat rate for the truck and driver. I put all our stuff in there AND the IM AND the Passat. If needed I could have used the logistic bars and plywood to build platforms on top of the cars for more stuff. Look around, there's likely better deals out there...
