Can anyone direct me to a description of how to remove a VS body? Search didn't help. Thanks.

the paid members of the site have access to all kinds of build manuals.

This should help you:
If like CMC - then add 2 bolts in front of gas tank (like donor VW) plus fiber glassed in front splash shield and rear splash shield above the muffler then bumpers and steering column. Very much like removing a bug body from its chassis.
that pic looks exzactly like the cmcfiberflub manul has.
If you have an iPhone, Siri is a great help with disposing of a body.
I'm currently doing a LOT of miles on a bicycle (35 to 50 miles per day and climbing). I use my iPhone to listen to tunes while riding and use Siri to manage things like the iPod, answer the phone, make phone calls, tell me the time, find route changes etc, and I can tell ya, she comes up with some amazing interpretations of my requests!
All in all, it is a truly amazing, hands-off management tool (that seems to learn a whole lot over a short time) that makes my rides a lot more fun.
The body diagram above should help you get a speedster body off of a CMC/VS/street beast/JPS or early (pan) IM. The speedster body attaches the same as a VW body.
Does anyone know how much the body actually weighs? Just curious...
Well, one time when I was messing around in Beaufort with my CMC before I got it onto the pan, I had to lift it and move it over about a foot. I could do one end at a time (while standing in the cockpit and lifting that end by the knees) so my best guess would be about three hundred pounds.
16 oz to the pound LOL I would guess about 400lb
2 man job...
