body support

I am considering running my '79 IM w/o bumpers, but am concerned about the lack of body support fore and aft. The front has brackets that the bumper bolted to. The rear bumper bolted to the body only (Streetbeasts has these brackets).

Any ideas on how to get a clean (no holes or bolts showing) look w/the bumpers removed, while still supporting the body?
