Back again! Both upper bolts on my rear bumper have managed to come loose and fall out. I assume they are the same size as the lower bolts, but without removing those, does anybody know the size and length of the bolts that should be used there? thanks

I was able to figure it our. Trial and error, 5/16 x1.

Yeah. 5/16 is so close to 8mm that you can use a 5/16 drill for an 8mm bony hole.
If your car is a VMC, Greg uses metric hardware. I'd get 8mm x 1.25 bolts 25mm long, that way they'll match the other bolts.
Throw a little blue lock-tight on there while you're at it.
