Just purchased a Bosch 019 dizzy for my 1915 cc motor. I am currently running an 009 with electronic ignition. I cant get the timing to quit jumping. While in SC over thanksgiving i installed the BR 18 off of my brothers 356A. Engine tuned up beautifully, idled nice and flat and accelerated very clean. An hour into the trip back to Baltimore I burnt the points (glad thats all i did to it.. it was a loaner!).

Is anyone running a german 019? Is it noticeably different? Should i stay with points in this dizzy or switch it out to electronic?
