I had a brain fart the other night.....

I was looking through a flyer for CIP1.com and saw some brake drums and disks for a Type 1 drilled and tapped for a Porsche 5 X 130 mm pattern.

I was thinking that I could get a set of these and have them drilled for the GM 4.75 5 lug pattern adn have studs installed.

This would allow me to get wheels with a smaller backspacing and the wheels would have a deeper look than if I used adapters.

What do you guys think.

Absolutely. There are "blanks" available from a lot of places. My advice is that you get a good machine shop to drill them for you though. It doesn't seem like rocket science, but at a show a few weeks back we were talking and it came up that two guys had both had a bad experience with getting them drilled right.
