Brake conversion question

The complete front set up (spindles, backing plates, rotors, lines, and calipers) from a VW Karman Ghia is a direct swap for the standard/normal US VW front drum brakes. Additionally, in US there are many Brazilian/MX/China kits available for under $400.

aren't you doing to the suby brake swap to meet (Europe) TUV specs because of your motor swap?

I see you have gone for the big Daddy of Scooby motors, will you be using the turbo model? You are going to need some serious brakes for that set up. Using solid disks will give you a false sense of security. Yes some guys will say that the speedster is light and the brakes won

I take look at your car and he is weary good looking:) But about my subaru engine I went to "light" ej25 just standard 110 kw engine. I have see brake conversion where they are using brake from porsche 944.
I spoke to one guy in UK how did that conversion and he told me if I was going to do it I should just do it at front and use standard dis conversion kit at rear. hit had also made 944 conversion at rear and told me that was just to much.
