Comment here about brake fluid and the brake light switch. We have found in the Studebaker club that silicone brake fluid will cause the brake light switch to go south in a couple of years. Don't know how that happens but suspect the silicone fluid leaks past the diaphram and into the switch itself. I just replaced the switch when it went bad after a few years because the benefits of silicone fluid far outweigh the minor cost of a new switch. Don't know if anybody out there is using silicone but if they are it would be prudent to check and see if the brake lights are working, at least every month or so. Bruce
