Hi all, I have just fitted an Empi rear disc kit to my car, along with a CSP big bore master cylinder. The car currently has a CB performance disc kit on the front. My problem is that I have bleed the system until im sure all the air is out, but am unable to get any sort of brake pedal ( its to the floor!!) I have bleed the front by removing the front calipers and tying them up at the top of the disc, as adviced before.I cant see any leaks. If i clamp the two rear hoses, the pedal just stops short of the floor!! I have read about using residual pressure valves in the system, but am unsure if thats going to help. Help me someone!!

I use a stock m/cyl with a 4 lb. residual pressure valve in the rear circuit, as prescribed by CB. Perf., and have a strong pedal. You simply thread it right into the m/cyl. and install the rear brake line into it.
You should get one of these. I have heard that when using this valve to bleed the fronts first then the rears.

There may be a left and right hand caliper according to where the bleeder is.
Be sure the bleeder valves are oriented to the top of the calipers.
You shouldn't have to pull the calipers to bleed them.

My kit for the fronts came with 2 bleeder screws per caliper, one on top and one on the bottom, making it impossible to screw up.(unless you use the bottom bleed valve).
