While cruising through SAMBA I came across this:

Wilwood caliper brackets for a beetle front end.  This would be an excellent way to mount Wilwood calipers on a stock Ghia rotor for a decent price.  I have Wilwoods on my IM, but I bought mine through Airkeld and paid top dollar for their fancy-dancy rotors.

 

If I had it to do again I would:

1.  Buy these brackets

2.  Buy Wilwood calipers from a larger discount company such as Summit

3.  buy new brake lines-the latest rage is SS lines, but I prefer OEM rubber, which usually cost more.

4.  Buy new Ghia rotors-made in the USA only-no Chinese crap

I saw that a few hours ago also, kinda pricy for a few brackets, Ill make my own or order blank ones from speedway much cheeper.but for the guy that cant do it him self I reckon it's not too bad, but these cars need the 4 piston calipers on the rear &2 pistons on the nose .I have the "E" brake discs on the rear of my bug and there not enough for the drums up front.

   good luck finding usa made stuff, usa boxed yup, but made, not unless you pay throuh the nosefor some good racing setups. and you might want to steer clear of the latest rage stuff,it's the lowest quality parts I have ever seen.I helped a gi with his bug motor last year and the latest rage rocker shaft kit had rolled up aluminum for the rocker spacers instead of solid1/4"wall tubing.and the rest of the parts were no better.I got some of thier stuff 10 years ago and it was about what empi was, but not any more from what Ive seen. but I havent seen all thier stuff.some might be fine,but why skimp on break parts like lines.

 

      also check out speedway motors, I think they have th4e willwood stuff a little less than sumit, always check around,you never know what you might miss that 1 place has or dosent have that you havent thought of.....yet
