You guys are really beginning to scare the hell out of me. The only one that seems to make some sense is Bruce. I am a brand new "Newbie" with a hankering to getting myself a speedster or a cab so Ii am just lurking around on this site TRYING to pick up pointers and see what is out there. I guess that I really will have to make sure of what i am saying before I post anything as I dont want to be jumped on like I have seen in this thread. Yes for those of you that are worried, i will be buying a "smilie face " prior to becoming involved but until then I will be monitoring to find out if I really want to. By the way "Compliments of the Season" and goodwill to all men ( or speedster owners ) R.
I, like Robert, have also HATED the non-stop back-biting and harping and this smiley face will also be leaving for awhile. When i google Speedster, I've got plenty of other links to check. I've enjoyed my visits here and learned a little (very little, as I'm not mechanically inclind). But I used to laugh a lot. NOT LATELY. Peace on Earth and Goodwill to All (whether or not they have donated).
P.S. - If this hadn't driven me away, it surely would have been the group hugs. (sticking finger down throat, making barfing sounds)

Rob, hang in there buddy. I like another members analogy, likening this site to a neighborhood bar - every now and then a chair comes flying across the room and some people get bloodied, its happened before and it will happen again. I've lingered here with hardly a scratch, I dont' talk politics, religion, Type 1 vs Type 4, etc. The dust will settle and it will be okay. If you are into Speedster replicas you can't stay away.

rear view mirror to see the dreaded pop of the blue lights. The bulky
patrolman saunters up and asks Rodney to get out of the vehicle and explain
his actions. Rodney protests, "but officer, I *did* slow down and there was
nobody coming. Why should I have to stop?"
The patrolman calmly removes the billy club from his belt and proceeds to
whack Rodney repeatedly upside his skull. "Now boy," yells the officer,
"would you prefer I slow down or stop?"

Greg,Yeah.. I am another Canadian and I have been in a few bars in my time. Usually when I go into a new bar I keep my back to the wall for a while and check things out! I have been in many new bars in my life and have ended up making some good friends after a while. So I am just going to stick around this site and I am sure that will happen here. Cheers Rob
