This is what I did today. I had these left over from another project. Doing the rears later this evening.

Nice! Serious braking power.
NICE!
More details please, Jimmy.
I was waiting for someone to ask. The pic is a Brembo replica cover attached with GOOP adhesive covering my Ghia style caliper. I have 4 piston size covers for the rears. They look very good and are made with rear bleeder valves and cap head screws. I like the look of the red Brembo's but have more stopping power than I need with the 4 wheel disc setup I have. I thought it reasonable to have replica Brembo's on a replica car. See the before and after pics below. I will post pics of the rears in a day or so when I get around to gluing them on. I bought these off of Ebay 4 or 5 years ago.

“...replica Brembos on a replica car.”
Perfect!
PCCA approves.
Long live PCCA!
Here is a picture of the front Brembo cover with the wheel on. Also a pic of the rear Brembo cover waiting for the Goop to dry.

Pics of the finished rears with the replica Brembo covers over my calipers. I think it turned out nice. It was a close fit on the rears, the covers are marketed to fit 16" rims and larger but they just fit in my 15" rims. You can buy the Brembo brake covers on Ebay for about $12.00 for the 4 cover set.

I need a set of those Replica Brembo covers to keep up with my kid (he has the real thing).

The most SOC thing in the world would be to put a set of those Brembo covers under a set of aluminum drum skinz. For the money, I might do it to the Spyder.
If you're going this route, buyer beware!
The fake covers are flooding eBay, and some are better copies than others:

Mitch, that was my favorite brand when I was single.
Yeah, but Bimbos don't stop you once you get going...
I dunno, Bob... You remember Paradise by the Dashboard Lights?

Well Marty, I guess our judgement improves with experience.
There's usually a reason why some things are cheap and readily available.
