bringing a speedster replica into canada as wrecked to get past RIV??

Has anyone from Canada, in this forum tried to import a kit car from the USA with a "wrecked, rebuild" status?

ADMISSIBLE AS A VEHICLE
Title indicates "rebuildable, repairable, etc.", Vehicle is on List (CL9203) as ADMISSIBLE, May be entered as a "vehicle".

ADMISSIBLE AS PARTS
Title indicates "rebuildable, repairable, etc.", Vehicle is on List (CL9203) as ADMISSIBLE or INADMISSIBLE, May be imported as Parts by filling out a Form 3.

But aren't kit cars disallowed? I still think that any car that has a VW pan and a completely different body, etc will be considered a kit car...even if it is registered in the US as a VW.

RIV will probably take the stand that if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it more than likely is a duck regardless of what you say it is.
