Todd, I didn't see anything what was it about?

The page it was on, page 20, disappeared. It was about the gap between my door window frames and the B pillars. It looks to me to be too big and I wanted to know how you would fix it. But, it is much easier to see with photos. When I get home, I will post again, or start a new thread if there is a page limit.
Todd , sounds like to me depending on how much gap it is anything from build it up with glass or cut the b pillar out move it and re-glass it in.

Sorry I did not have the time yesterday to post the photos, but hopefully will have time this evening.
I am guessing that I will have to build it up, and the thought of cutting the b pillar scares the ____ out of me.
I did that on the side of my tunnel, too. Mine's a little shorter and longer than that one.
Not quite as fancy, too, but it provides super-easy access to the clutch and throttle cable ends in there. I made mine because the clutch tube hanger let go at the front, just behind the pedal assy and I had to get in there to re-weld it. Close quarters (and skewed towards the rear) but I made it and then made it so the removed plate was replaceable but screwed in.
Anyone interested in buying my coupe? Not really hot on selling it but im kinda burnt out on it.
$15k with the 1915cc long block and clear NC title.
Are you serious? I thought you were getting close to the last stretch.
Seriously ???
Brock, you've been going at it hammer and tongs! That, along with our kibitzing, would burn anybody out. I recommend kicking back, having a beer, taking a trip to the beach or mountains, and staying out of the shop for a while. After you've charged your batteries, give it another think. You've generated a lot of buzz and visibility, that won't go away. You'll still be able to find a buyer pretty quick if you still want out. And we'll still be rooting for you either way!

Yeah pretty serious, it has burned me out and with the amount of money i had from my F100 it would have been tight anyway. I have enough money to finish it but selling it makes more sense.
Im not sure it will be an easy sell at this price.... and that is a lil over break even.
@Brock B put pictures together I think there is someone here in Cali looking for a coupe a few months ago. Not many are for sale so not sure if got one yet.
@Brock B Hey Brock, I’m jealous of your ability to create this. Your build is looking great. I’m looking for a Coupe but unfortunately it has to be a finished build, as I don’t have the ability/skill to take something like this on. Best of luck.
@calmotion thank you for thinking of me in my search. And keep me in mind in the future. My dream Coupe has a Subbie motor facilitating its use as a daily driver here in NCA.
Calmotion, thanks anyway.
Sfnative ,no problem thanks!

Brock... Have done 48 Speedster I have hit the build wall many times, this is the fix: Make a build list in order of assemble including the small items. When you get frustrated , pick a couple of small items you can do or prep. This gets something done to check off on the To Do List reducing the frustration level. My wife ribs me about my To Do Lists but it does work.... I can bang out a build in a short few months.
@Alan Merklin @Brock B @SFnative Al since your an experience builder and Brock no longer want to continue his coupe build. Sf wants a coupe / Subie but does not want to build anything. All three and sync up to see something can be arrange👍😎👏
Follow the good Doctor's prescription to the letter, and all will be fine. Yes, it's always a wise idea to have all the small items listed, and they can be worked on and completed (and make you feel better), when you are tired of the big stuff.

This a great idea, even if only to organize, so I started it doing it my head. I got through 4 big things and then realized I don't know enough to even know what the small things are. Good thing I am not in a rush.
Lol if i wanted to finish building it i would do it for me......
Its going on the market soon but i dont think it will sell. Nobody is willing to pay for a replica unless its super cheap or done.
The whole shipping thing didn't help and i have already been called a fake poser (not on here) so its going.........

Considering all the things I have been called, fake poser would be a step up.
Good luck with the sale, Brock. There are folks out there who will be interested. Consider putting it up on the Speedster & Coupe Replica Club group on Facebook, if you haven't already.
Mike
Good luck with the sale. I kinda want it but, for the foreseeable months, will be wrapping up my own very slow build.
If I did grab it I'd put a Subie in it. That I could do....
Mike , yes it will be up there.
Ed, i will sell it without the vw long block for less....just sayin.
Brock..... Sorry to multiple post.... Sent you a PM.
Thanks,
Mike
Mike I never heard back from ya, give me a call.
Ok, all bolted down and roll bar tubes sealed up and smoothed out.....

I don't think you are going to get any updates as the car is for sale.
yesterday afternoon browsing the site I saw the sale, which hurts with so much work not to finish it, surely it will be with a tastier project for him
CAR IS SOLD, Thread is locked now.
