How was Manassas?

Greg, the BugOut was great. Met some nice folks, saw some really nice cars, and picked up some parts I was looking for. I was a fun way for Maggie and me to spend our anniversary, especially the part where we took home first place in the kit car class. There was one other speedster, a couple of Avengers, and a few other kits. -- Syl

I drove back from Carlisle through the same rain as you did -- and that pristine, white car had to have been blotto by the time you got it back into the garage!
Great job, taking First there. They're not kidding around at a BugOut -- they take judging pretty seriously!

BTW -- Happy anniversary to you and Maggie!

I didn't make - was chained to Speedie in garage working on it! Actually Alan didn't build the VS he had there couple years ago - just one that quickly passed through his hands. Dale won with his MGTD few years ago and Cory walked away with award too one year. Shame it was so close to Carlisle event - its a fun event with far more VW parts available than at Carlisle. We need to push more SOCers to the next one which is Labor Day weekend. Kelly - bring on the competition!
