Build differences are significant between the different manufacturers. Mine is a Beck that we built from one of their Deluxe Body Kits at the Carlisle show in '06. It's probably the easiest build other than one complete minus engine (also available from Beck). It comes painted, upholstered, and wired. All you do is mount the drive train, front spindles, lights, and a few other bits. Add fluids and make adjustments and you have a car. There are some pictures of the build on the Special Edition website (http://www.beckspeedster.com). There are a few more at http://www.theta.net/~nichols/speedster/carlisle06/index.html.
Once you get one, you'll have to join the rest of us in the Carolinas/Tennessee/Georgia area for some of the get-togethers we have.
