Outstanding!
Joe,
I noticed in the picture of your driver and passenger doors the metal rod is attached to the opening mechanism on the "outside" of the door portion that is covered by the door panel. Is this for test fitting because the spindle system is supposed to be on the inside of the door with just the spindle poking through? Just asking.
Other than that.............looks awesome.
Beautiful stuff, Joe. Keep those updates coming....
So nice to see a great car coming together.
Looks beautiful, Joe.
The car shot in the daylite shows the colour really nicely.
Love those brakes!
Oh Carey! About the coupe...
It's always fun to see the guys and the shop. That red Spyder with the gray leather interior in the showroom REALLY caught my eye.
It was a lot of driving (320 miles round trip), but sure beat being in the office :-)

Joe,
Looks great, very cool. With those Wilwood disc brakes do you have an E-brake?
Pete
Pete yes I will have an E-brake
Robert not sure about the placement of the mechanicals, will follow up with Carey
Joe,
Is the E-Brake part of the Wilwood rear disc brake or does something have to be built/added? I didn't think Wilwoods had an E-brake.
Thanks,
Pete
Looking good, Joe!

I forgot Carey was building this car, I'm sure he knows and he was doing it for fitment reasons.. I thought this was a different member's car. He's building it himself with help from another shop.
Joe, come in your Audi. Don't rush the build. After Carslise you're really going to be psyched:-)
Marty that is the way I am leaning at this point. Work and kids schedule lined up this year. N
If you're going solo, you're welcome to ride with me. I'll be leaving first thing thing Thursday morning, but you could stay at my house Wednesday night.

Joe, the trim/bling on that engine is just gorgeous.
Then, I go out and look at Pearl's engine and I just wanna puke. My idea of engine bling is satin black paint with blue spark plug wires.....Maybe a blue disti cap for that little extra excitement.
Everybody told me "no chrome" so I went with no chrome.
Boring.
Guess I'm gonna have to get more satin black rattle cans........
Or maybe a can of Blue?
Thanks Gordon, credit goes to Carey Hines. He did some research and found out he could powder coat in a neutral color then paint everything the same as the car. Check out this link for some inspiration. http://www.prismaticpowders.co...CH6coCFQ6QaQodxBEAhw
HOLY CARP!
2,780 different powder colors?
Hyper-Metallics?
Jamaican Teal?
Hey, Mon!
Just checked out the fourth line of powders and saw Jamaican Teal.
For that matter, I could use the entire fourth row of powders and build up a Rasta-Speedstah, Mon!
Dreds on the roof and all! Like this......(Thank you, Pixar!!!) :
