I purchased bumper brackets from someone here, but because of the monza muffler that I am using, I do not have room to put in the brackets. From the top of the muffler to the bottom of the tins, I have about a 3 fingers gap. I want to put the rear bumper back on, but I am trying to figure out where to put the brackets. I guess at this point I am going to have to weld up a new one out of angle iron and flat steel, but the question is, once I relocate the brackets outside of the muffler and outside of the box tubing, will the bumper bolts move outward to the new location?
