bumper iron grommets VS | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

I have recently bought a vintage speedster, one of only a few on the shores of the United Kingdom, which is why I am asking the question as i have not got any others to compare mine to. I recently had some bits a pieces shipped from Vintage, trunk carpet kit, coca mats and bumper iron gromets (the ones between the bumper irons and the body). These arrived, but whereas the other items were fairly self explanatory the bumper grommets are beyond me?. i was expecting bug type grommets, they have sent me 4 pieces of flat rubber, with a slot in them for the bumper iron, how do they attach to the irons/body?, has anybody got any pictures?, thanks

You slide them onto the bumper brackets, before installing them onto the car and place a small amount of rubber glue onto the back side towards the body to hold them in place.
