The color is even better in person. I'm not the most creative person when it comes to color choices and this color is real nice. It goes very well with the Oxblood interior although I think VS calls it Wine Allante.

Beautiful car beautiful color.  I am painting my outlaw this week.  We picked grey black from Porsche.  It is close to your color(maybe a little darker).  I have been debating about leaving the hood shaved like yours.  It is shaved and the current color is red.  I ordered the decal and hood handle thinking i would use it.  But I'm not so sure.

How did you mount the Marchals to the body?

Not mounted to the body, they are mounted through the bumper mount holes, to the same place the bumpers are mounted.

I made the mounting brackets out of 1" aluminum angle iron and cut off all but 1" on one side of the angle bar so I had a 1" square platform to mount the light on.  So I ended up with a 9.5 inch flat bar with a 1" square angle at the end.

The Marchals look great on your outlaw. I was very tempted to go that route with my car but in the  end I purchased some amber fogs from ISP West as the mounting bracket allowed me to fix the lights direct to the body using existing drill holes. Here is a pic a guy took of the installation at the Canepa Cars & Coffee on 04/11. Chris

Chris.

Your car looks nice with the amber lights too!  Here are a couple of pictures of a silver outlaw I had a few years ago.  I mounted the Marchals to the body like you did.  I had to do a little bit of modification to the rear of the housing so the mount could swivel to a perpendicular position, but it was very easy to do.

I like them mounted on the body, but I didn't want to have to plug up the bumper holes and repaint the car so I mounted them through the bumper holes this time.

Troy:  Great minds think alike.  Here's Pearl, from some where around 2005 or so when I added the Marchal lights I won at the Carlisle Raffle (THANK YOU Special Edition, for your raffle donation!!!!!!!!!)

Here's a front view:

And I didn't want them jiggling about, so I fab'd up a mirrored pair of body mounts from 3/16" stainless steel plate - nobody told me how hard stainless steel is to work with......It takes a LOT of heat to bend that stuff.

Then, to finished off theOutlaw "look", I used a pair of braided stainless steel hoses to carry the wires from the frame to the lights.  They may look suspiciously like Kitchen Faucet water connections.....Trust me, only the Home Depot guy would know.

BTW, I had to run the Nerf Bars when I first got her on the road back in 1999 because of head-up-ur-butt Massachusetts DMV regs back then.  The only alternative when I got the lights was to mount them slightly inboard and balance everything off with placement.  She's also wired for a pair of Fog lights, too, if I could ever figure out where to mount them, assuming they were round and classy.
