No incidents, no accidents, no more arrests. I've had to make some pretty hard life-decisions since 'the incident' and one of those decisions was to take a couple of years off from work and 'get my head right'

Well, my head is about as good as it's ever been, maybe better and there's no more room for Butch. Price has been reduced substantially. Value factor has gone way up as a result.

If I was considering a speedster replica and didn't want the 'Butch' stigma, the new price could easily allow the new owner to paint the fucker pink if he/she/it wanted.

Someone out there buy the car and roll up a ton of miles for me.

I'm also contemplating selling the 911. It's also a great car but it needs $1400 worth of replacement doo-hickies in the convertible top mechanism.
1989 Cabriolet. Black on black. 3 piece HRE/Fuchs 8" fronts, 10" rears. Clear coat is beginning to fail on the passenger side fender. 160K miles. Just had a major tune, etc, brakes are good for a few more years.
$22K
I could see me in this ride with a 12 step...I mean a 12 DMV point system racked up by Happy Hour on the first day of ownership...I keep humming "Go Speed Racer, Go Speed Racer, ....GO' OOOO :)
Bill..... I shook my cookie jar and came up a few shilling shy of the projected reserve....Wanna go halfies ? We could also share a spot at the local KOA :)
Who ever steps up and assumes ownership, is going to be one pleased camper.
It looks like I just sold my Superformance Cobra, the only thing that was standing between me and a speedster. This looks right up my alley as I would probably be disappointed going from a 600HP cobra to a 1600 engine in one of these.

Is the asking price a secret? I have looked for it but can't find it. I realize there is an ebay auction on it, but is there an asking price outside of that arena?

Waxhaw is really South Charlotte. I can see the county line behind the house across the street, but for post office reasons they call us Waxhaw which is 20 minutes south of hear. I live in the golf course area of south charlotte in a little servants quarters type house surrounded by golfers driving cars I can't afford... but I have never seen any of them in a speedster. So now its my time.. they can be jealous of me for once.. lol.

James,

You might try e mailing or calling Paul on the $$. My Speedster left
home this morning going to a new one in Portland. I am sure Paul could give you a good Idea of what he wants. I know from personal encounters with Butch that it is indeed one super fast machine. Hope you buy it cause it needs someone that knows and appreciates HP and Torque.
Hijack alert... The ebay auction for Butch will be closing tomorrow morning 9:30 west coast time.

I'm glad all you folks have someone to drive with out in the hinterlands and Bruce, please STFU about your done deal here and start another f'ing thread. You guys with empty garages will survive.

Someone bang a drum and conjure a bidder up from the depths of hell that wants to buy a solid, reliable and fast f'ing replica. Otherwise it might becomes a revenuer's car!
